A full-time Rodent Operative is employed for rodent infestation
work and whilst there was no evidence of major infestations in the town,
2,513 visits were paid to deal with minor infestations at private and
business premises.
The fifth and sixth maintenance treatments were carried out in
March and September respectively. In March 334 manholes were baited
and of these 36.5% showed complete or partial takes; 337 manholes were
baited in September,,48.1% of which showed complete or partial takes,
