The proprietors of establishments used for the preparation,
storage or sale of food co-operated with the officers of the local
authority in every possible way to secure that their premises were
in good order and it is felt the successful prosecution of the Clean
Food Campaign must now rest on the gradual education of all
persons engaged in the handling of food, coupled with a determination
on the part of the public to insist on hygienic methods
of distribution.
