Bakehouses.
Periodical visits were paid to the eight bakehouses in the
district and generally they were maintained in a satisfactory condition.
In one instance premises were re-conditioned and
modernised.
Factories Act, 1937.
One hundred and thirty visits were paid to Factories, and in
17 instances action was taken to secure improvements in cleanliness
and ventilation of sanitary accommodation.
