SECTION B.
General Provision of the
Health Services in the Area
(a) Public Health Officers of the Local Authority (see
first page).
(b) Laboratory Facilities. A Ministry of Health
tory operates at St. Margaret's Hospital, Epping.
Milk, water and ice cream samples are examined at
the Counties Public Health Laboratory, 66 Queen

(c) Ambulance Facilities. Transport of the sick and
jured and maternity cases is the responsibility of the

The "sitting case" car service previously
organised by your Council continues, by consent of
the volunteers concerned, to operate in the district
as part of the new County Council service.
(d) Hospitals. The hospitals serving the area form part of
the Forest Group of Hospitals administered by the
North-East London Regional Hospital Board.
