Public Abattoirs.
There is no public abattoir within the Borough.
Slaughterhouses.
Three licences were renewed during the year. The licensing of two
slaughterhouses was again deferred pending the execution of essential repairs.
There is no horse-slaughtering establishment within the Borough.
Slaughter of Animals Act, 1933.
Nine slaughter-men were on the register of the department at the end
of the year.
