Swimming Baths and Pools.
Excellent facilities for swimming are provided at the Corporation's three
open-air baths.
Water is supplied by the Metropolitan Water Board's main, and samples
for bacteriological examination are taken throughout the season.
Schools.
Inspection of sanitary arrangements and canteens at the schools coming
under the jurisdiction of the Divisional Executive was maintained by the
sanitary inspectors during the year.
It was not necessary to close any schools on account of infectious disease
among children.
