LABORATORY WORK.
The usual arrangements were continued during the year
and worked satisfactorily.
The following table gives the number of specimens examined during the year:-

AMBULANCE FACILITIES.
Infectious diseases.
A motor ambulance is provided by the South Middlesex
and Richmond Joint Hospital Board.
Non-infectious and accident cases.
At the close of the year three ambulances were in commission. The following table shows the work done by the Borough Ambulance Service during the year 1946:-

NURSING IN THE HOME.
There are five home-nursing associations in the Borough
and during the year the Council contributed the sum of £300 to
their funds.
