Three pre-nursing students from the Twickenham County School
trained in Mothercraft and obtained the Certificate of the Royal
Sanitary Institute, two students passing with distinction.
Courses in Mothercraft training were arranged for about
thirty senior students from Kneller School; the girls spent one
morning each week in the Nurseries, where practical demonstrations
in the care of children were given by the nursery staff. This
course is very popular and other schools have asked if this training
can be extended for their use.
The Parents' Group has not yet been re-commenced but
parents have been most appreciative and have co-operated with the
staff in arranging many special parties and outings for their
children.
