NURSES' ACT, 1943
Agencies for the Supply of Nurses
During the year the Corporation made application to the
Middlesex County Council for the delegation to them of the latter's
functions under Part II of the above Act, as provided by Section 11.
The County Council intimated however that as they were
the authority throughout the county for the licensing of employment
agencies and that there were at present a number of nursing agencies
licensed by them as employment agencies, they had decided for the
time being not to delegate any of their functions under Part II of
the Act to the Council of any County District.
