LABORATORY WORK
The usual arrangements were continued during the
year and worked satisfactorily.
The following table gives the number of specimens examined during the year:-

NURSING IN THE HOME
The five home-nursing associations in the Borough
continued their good work and during the year the Council
contributed £300 to the funds of the associations.
CLINICS AND WELFARE CENTRES
Details of the clinics held within the Borough were
set out in my last report.
HOSPITALS
Smallpox
Hospital accommodation, as necessary, is provided
by the Middlesex County Council.
Tuberculosis
Facilities for diagnosis, treatment and
institutional care are provided by the Middlesex County Council.
There is no clinic in the Borough, but an excellent Dispensary
with modern equipment is available at 28, Bell Road, Hounslow.
