LABORATORY WORK
Specimens for bacteriological examination were.
to the pathological Department, Victoria Hospital, Kings
upon-Thames (Ministry of Health Emergency Pathology Sery
and occasionally to the Royal Institute of Public Health a
Hygiene. The arrangements are quite satisfactory.

AMBULANCE FACILITIES
Infectious diseases
A motor ambulance is provided by the South
Middlesex and Richmond Joint Hospital Board.
Non-Infectious and accident cases
Four motor ambulances are provided by the Council.
During the year Stanley Road Ambulance Station was transferred
to the Hollies Depot and the ambulances have since been
stationed at the latter. The facilities were adequate for
the needs of the Borough,

NURSING IN THE HOME
There are in the Borough five home-nursing
associations employing nurses - viz., Twickenham Nursing
Association, Teddington & District Nursing Association,
Hampton Nursing Association, Hampton Hill Nursing Association,
and the Hampton Wick District Nursing Association.
During the year the Council contributed -£300 to the
funds of the associations.
