A. Proceedings under sections 9, 10 and 16 of the Housing Act,
1936
(i) Number of dwelling-houses in respect of which

3. Overcrowding.
The position with regard to overcrowding cannot be accurately
assessed without a general survey of housing conditions in the area.
The system of allocation of corporation houses and flats gives some
preference to overcrowded cases and during the year 8 statutorily
overcrowded families, involving 32 persons, were rehoused in Council
owned properties.
