Health Visiting.
A feature of the Health Visiting Service was the increase in the
number of visits paid to aged persons, many of whom are living alone
and in need of social advice and supervision. As time goes on it is
anticipated that the need of these visits will further increase. This
branch of her work illustrates the increased scope of the Health
Visitor's duties. She now advises on problems affecting persons of
all ages, her work being no longer confined to children and expectant
mothers.
