It was necessary to report to the Public Health Committee an offence
under Section 13 of the Act. This was in the case of a cafe at which
the walls and ceiling required cleansing. Repeated attempts on the parts of
the Senior Sanitary Inspector and District Sanitary Inspector failed to
Produce the desired result and it was necessary for the Council to threaten
to take proceedings against the proprietor in order to get the walls and
ceilings cleansed and redecorated.
