ANNUAL REPORT
of the
MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH
for the Year Ending 31st December, 1942.
In the year under review the public health of the district remained
satisfactory and the incidence of infectious disease approximately of the
pre-war standard.
The estimate of resident population 1942 as given by the registrarGeneral
shows an increase of 3,200. The birth rate has increased by 4 per
thousand and the death rate by 0.37 per thousand.
