The table below shows the results for the Chigwell Urban District:-
Number of school children to whom B.C.G. vaccination was offered: | 1203 |
Number accepted: | 916 (76.14%) |
Number given skin test and percentage | 872 (72.48%) |
Number who gave positive reaction to skin test: | 44 |
Number who received B.C.G. | 775 |
Pupils who gave a significant positive reaction were referred
to the Chest Clinic; no significant findings have so far been reported,
but some of the children remain under observation.
