3. SLAUGHTERHOUSES AND MEAT INSPECTION.
(a) Only one Slaughterhouse now remains in the area, extensive
alterations are in progress to enable it to comply with the
requirements of The Slaughterhouse (Hygiene) Regulations, 1958.
(b) 53 animals were slaughtered during the year and all were
inspected for fitness for human consumption. Details are
shown below:-
