Prevalence of, and Control over,
Infectious and other Diseases.
Scarlet Fever.
The incidence of the disease was low compared with
1943 and 38% of the cases notified were nursed at home.
Diphtheria.
Four cases notified, 2 were service personnel, 1 at
a residential school, the remaining case was in a child, aged
12 years, who had not been immunised.
