44 samples of Tuberculin Tested and accredited milk were taken
by the County Council during the year and were reported on as
follows:—
Satisfactory 33. Unsatisfactory 11.
Further samples were taken where the result was unsatisfactory
and in 9 cases a satisfactory report was obtained. In the other 2 cases
samples do not appear to have been taken probably owing to the
suspension of routine work due to Foot and Mouth Disease in other
parts of the County.
Licenses granted to produce Tuberculin Tested and Accredited
Milk have all been renewed during the year.
The number of farms producing Graded and Ungraded milk are—

Of the producers of ordinary milk, 1 farm has only 2 or 3 cows in
milk and the other 2 producers do not at the moment desire to take the
necessary steps to arrive at the required standard for production of
Accredited Milk.
There are 18 Dairies and Milk Shops on the register and 119
visits have been made.
44 retail purveyors of milk are on the register.

Milk and Dairies Consolidation Act, 1915—
11 samples of milk, under this Act, were taken by the County
Council during the year, 10 were satisfactory and 1 positive (T.B.)
Action was taken in the latter case, the cow producing positive milk
was isolated and dealt with under the Tuberculosis Order.
