Food Premises—Inspection
High priority continues to be given to this work and although the staffing position
remains unsatisfactory, the number of visits paid to food premises show an increase of some
25% over 1956. The standard of premises, equipment, and hygiene continues to be
generally good. One sub-standard cafe ceased to operate during the year.
