Second cases occurred during the year in eight households, seven of which were not overcrowded
or slum property, the eighth, however, being in a family where the house was
dilapidated and overcrowded.
A full report on the work of the Chest Clinic was received. This report, of course,
deals with an area which includes but is larger than Southall, but information obtained
from it concerned the Mount Pleasant Hospital and St. Bernard's Hospital, situated in
Southall.
