The attendances at the Child Welfare clinics during 1939 are shown in the following table:—

The total attendances at the clinics during the past six years have been as follows:-

It will be noticed that there was again a rather large increase in the total number
of attendances in 1939 compared with the figure for 1938. This increase to
7 per cent. It is encouraging that the services available in this way appear to be appreciated.
The subjoined table shows the proportion of new infant cases attending the clinics
to the total in the district:-
