Twenty-four patients admitted as scarlatina or diphtheria were
subsequently diagnosed as suffering from other diseases. These were as
follows:—(The case notified as diphtheria and subsequently diagnosed as
scarlatina is included in the return of this second disease):—

Laboratory Work.
The laboratory work for the hospital continues to be done by the Lister
