Infectious Disease Visits.
During the year, the Health Visitors paid 947 visits with reference to
cases of infectious disease. Three hundred and seven swabs were taken and
ten antitoxin injections were given. The total number of children examined
by the Health Visitors in the schools was 2,068.
The following table (No. 40) shows the number of children excluded
from the schools and the reasons for their exclusion.
