In addition, under Section 16 of the above Act, the following samples

Chemical and Bacteriological Examination of Food.
The chemical or bacteriological analyses of samples taken by the Health
Department are carried out either by the Clinical Research Association or by
the Public Analyst.
Nutrition.
As mentioned elsewhere in this Report it was hoped that it would be
possible to carry out a Health Propaganda Week in the district during the year
1935. This however proved impracticable and the only propaganda with
regard to nutrition which was carried out was in connection with the various
Maternity and Child Welfare Clinics.
