Note.—By a recent decision of the Council, all foster children
on arrival are subject to a medical examination by the
Medical Officer of Health.
SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE AREA.
Water Supply.
There is an adequate supply of water supplied by the
South West Surbuban Water Co., and the Metropolitan
Water Board to practically every house in the district. No
houses are supplied by means of wells.
During the year, samples were taken from the mains
of the company's supplying the district, and the result of
two of the analyses are given below:—
