ORTHOPAEDIC TREATMENT.
There are no special arrangements for the prevention,
treatment and after-care of crippling conditions. Any such
cases that come before our notice are referred to the patient's
own doctor or to the Orthopaedic Hospital.
PUBLIC HEALTH (PREVENTION OF TUBERCULOSIS)
REGULATIONS, 1925.
Action under these Regulations has not been necessary
during the year.

GENERAL PROVISION OF HEALTH SERVICES IN
THE AREA.
NURSING IN THE HOME.
Nature of the Arrangements in the Area.
General.
The local Nursing Association provides two Nurses, one
on each side of the district, for the home nursing of cases
of ordinary sickness and accidents, but manifestly more
are needed for our rapidly increasing population.
Infectious Disease (Measles).
The Health Visitor for Zymotic diseases acts as Nurse
in cases of Measles outbreaks.
