CASE No. 1.
Male. Age 8 7/\2ths.
TYPE OF MALOCCLUSION.
TREATMENT.
The left upper incisor (above the tooth marked with a
cross) in lingual occlusion.
Left upper incisor advanced over lower incisors by means
of vulcanite plate into which was inserted a screw. The
parent was instructed to turn the screw a half turn every
other day.
This is a type of case frequently met with. The lower incisor marked with a cross was
loose when the patient was first seen and the tooth was becoming denuded of bone. This is
indicated in the photographs by the difference in the level of the gum margin before and after
treatment.
