3. Attendances made by children for treatment82463. The gross attendances made by children at the Dental Clinic were 10,043, but children were not always physically treated, for various reasons, every time they attended.
4. Fillings—4. The ratio of fillings in permanent teeth to extractions of permanent teeth was 430 fillings to 100 extractions.

1 Anaesthetist (Deputy School Medical Officer).
1 Trained Nurse (Recovery Room).
For orthodontic Sessions.
Orthodontic Consultant—1 session per month.
Dental Mechanic—Once a week.

The 1,583 "administrations of general anaesthetics for extractions "represents the number
of times gas was given, and not the number of sessions devoted to extractions under gas, which
was 122.
