The total income is found, the rent is deducted, and the remaining amount is divided
by the number of persons in the family, and on the scale the charges are:—
Income less than 8/- per head Free
Between 8/- and 10/- per head 9/-
Between 10/- and 12/- per head 18/-
Above 12/- per head full amount £1 17 0
Cases of special difficulty are specially considered.
Simple treatment by extraction only, is of course carried out in suitable cases.
There seem to be varying dental opinions with regard to the most suitable teeth to
extract to secure best results, but the writer does not incline to any one school, all have their
place and use in skilled hands.
Mechanic's Fees.

Fewer models will be needed in future in view of the attendance of the Orthodontic
Specialist at the Clinic, whereas formerly, a dental model had to be taken in each case to be
sent up to the Royal Dental Hospital when the Specialist there was considering the case.
