Note.—No order of merit is implied, nor attempted in this Table.
For the first time the whole of the school population has been
under survey so that from now onwards, there will be definite
statistics which are comparable.
The time has surely come when there should be dental inspectors,
appointed by the Board of Education on the same lines
as the medical inspectors.
We who have not been trained in the dental work beyond a
certain point, are not in a position to assist or criticise the treatment
carried out, and unless there is some common basis on which
statistics can be framed a large proportion of them are fallacious.
