RESULT OF SERVICES OF NOTICES
(!1) Legal Proceedings
(a) Proceedings were instituted against the owner of a dwelling house
for failing to comply with an Abatement Notice (Public Health Act, 1936:
Section 93). The defendant, who pleaded not guilty, was fined £2.0.0.
with £3.3.0. costs.
(b) Proceedings were instituted against the owner of a dwelling house
for failing to give information as to his interest in the property (Public
Health Act 1936: Section 277). The defendant was fined £2.0.0. and no
Order was made for costs.
(c) Proceedings were instituted against the owners of shop premises
for failing to comply with a Court Order to prevent a recurrence of a
nuisance arising from accumulations of trade refuse in a yard space.
The defendants pleaded not guilty and were fined £5.0.0. with £5.5.0. costs.
(d) Proceedings were instituted against the owners of a dwelling house
for failing to comply with an Abatement Notice (Public Health Act, 1936:
Section 93). The Notice was complied with after the Summons had been
issued and the defendants were ordered to pay £10.10.0. costs.
(e) Proceedings were instituted against the owner of a dwelling house
for failing to give information as to his interest in the property (Public
Health Act 1936: Section 277). The defendant was fined £5.0.0. with
£3.3.0. costs.
