Towards the end of the year investigations were carried out at a
Youth Club in Wimbledon where one of the seniors had developed
tuberculosis.
With the co-operation of the Mass Radiography Unit of the
Regional Hospital Board, arrangements were made for Club members
to undergo an x-ray examination of the chest. Of the 109 persons
invited to undergo this x-ray examination 63 attended, and in all cases
the results were negative.
