INFANTILE MORTALITY.
During 1952 there were 10 deaths in infants under one year of age,
giving an infantile mortality rate for Wimbledon of 13.60 per thousand
live births, as compared with a rate of 27.6 for England and Wales.
Six of the 10 deaths occurred during the first four weeks of life,
giving a neo-natal death-rate of 8.16 per thousand live births.
