During the year investigations were carried out in connection with
a Youth Club in Wimbledon, four members of the Club having developed
pulmonary tuberculosis within six months. To assist in the
investigations arrangements were made for the Mass Radiography Unit
to visit the area. Facilities were then offered for all senior officials and
members of the Club to undergo an x-ray examination of the chest.
No abnormality was discovered to indicate the source of infection.
