Mr. Mayor, Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to submit the Annual Report on the work of
the Public Health Department for the year ended 31st December,
1946. This Report is compiled in accordance with the instructions
contained in Circular 13/47 of the Ministry of Health.
Since the outbreak of war these Reports have been issued in an
abbreviated form in view of the need for economy in the use of
paper. Full statistical records have however been preserved in the
Public Health Department for future reference.
