Early in the year Dr. PPJ„ Doody was recruited for service
with H.M. Forces. Dr. Enily M. Eraser was appointed in a temporary
capacity and commenced duty on 1st January, 1944.
In concluding this report I should like to express my deep
appreciation to the Chairmen and members of the Public Health and
Maternity and Child Welfare Committees for the consideration and
courtesy which they have again shown me during 1944.
It is also a pleasure bo draw attention to the help and
co-operation which I have received from all members of the staff.
