eleven instances, and the following table shows the conditions
for which medical help was obtained:—

The total fees paid to doctors by the Corporation during
the year under Section 14 (1) of the Midwives Act, 1918,
amounted to £112 l1s. 6d. The amount recovered from the
patients' relatives was £43 14s. 7d.
