This figure represents 32.70 per cent. of the total
number of deaths recorded.

The following table, which gives the figures for the past ten years, seems to indicate that diseases of the heart and circulation are becoming increasingly important factors in the causation of death in Wimbledon.

Bronchitis, Pneumonia, and Other Respiratory Diseases.
Twenty deaths were due to bronchitis, forty-six to
pneumonia and three to other respiratory diseases. This gives
a total figure of sixty-nine, or 10.84 per cent. of the total deaths
occurring amongst residents of the Borough during 1933.
