The medical practitioners in the area were notified of
these facilities. Up to the end of December, 1932, however,
only one patient had received treatment under this scheme.
These arrangements should ultimately prove to be an
important factor in reducing the number of maternal deaths
occurring among Wimbledon mothers.
Home Visitation.—The record of home visitation work
carried out by the Health Visitors during 1932 is as follows:
