[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Wimbledon]

Owing to the unfortunate death of Dr. Gilmour, the
work of the Public Health Department was carried on during
the remainder of the year by Dr. E. M. D. Craig, the Assistant
Medical Officer of Health, and Mr. Johnson, the Chief Sanitary
Inspector. During the same period, Dr. W. Galvin was
appointed to act as Medical Superintendent to the Wimbledon
Isolation Hospital at Gap Road. The whole of the staff
co-operated in an enthusiastic and loyal way in the work of
the. department.
