Professional Nursing in the Home.
(a) General:—South Wimbledon District Nursing Association
supported by voluntary contributions. A small
contribution is made by the Wimbledon Borough
Council in respect to cases of Ophthalmia Neonatorum.
(b) Infectious Diseases—None.
Midwives :—Under the supervision of the Surrey County
Council. There are 15 midwives practising in the district.
MORTUARY.
From information received from the Superintendent of
the Cemetery, there were 72 bodies received into the mortuary
during the year.
Inquests were held by the Coroner with respect to 48
bodies, equal to 10.08 per cent. of all deaths registered in the
Borough.
