Midwives:—Under the supervision of the Surrey County
Council. There are 14 midwives practising in the district.
MORTUARY.
From information received from the Superintendent of the
Cemetery, there were 55 bodies received into the mortuary
during the year.
Inquests were held by the Coroner with respect to 41
bodies, equal to 8.5 per cent. of all deaths registered in the
Borough.
