Of the 24 male and 11 female deaths from pulmonary
tuberculosis, 9 males and 2 females died in the districts outside
the Borough, i.e. notification of death was transferred to
Wimbledon. Of the total 37 deaths, 27 (73 per cent.) had
been notified as suffering from tuberculosis.
Of the 10 non-pulmonary notifications, 4 were notified as
" glands," 3 as " abdominal," 1 of " metacarpals," 1 " skin,"
and 1 " testicle. "
A new system of keeping Tuberculosis returns lias been
started, and it is hoped that a full record of all Tuberculous
cases in the district may be completed during 1924. This should
enable closer co-operation with the Tuberculosis Officer for the
county.
