In addition to the thirteen Walthamstow mothers admitted to
the Home, Miss Williams made arrangements for twelve others to
enter homes elsewhere in the County.
MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE CENTRES
The following list gives details of Clinics held at the various
Centres situated in the Borough:—
(a) Ante-Natal and Post-Natal Clinics:
Monday (twice monthly) 2 p.m. Silverdale Road, Highams Park.
Thursday „ „ ,, 2 p.m. West Avenue, E. 17.
Thursday (weekly) 2.3 p.m. Markhouse Road, E.17.
(In addition, clinics are held at the District Nurses' Home, and
a large proportion of the ante-natal work of the Borough is done
at Thorpe Coombe Maternity Hospital).
(b) Ante-Natal Relaxation Exercises Classes.

Wednesday 2 p.m. West Avenue, E.17.
Thursday 2 p.m. Silverdale Road, E.4.
(c) Child Welfare Clinics.
