IN THE BOROUGH.
1. Public Health Officers of the Authority
The names and qualifications of the Senior Public Health
officers employed by the Authority are given at the beginning of
the Report.
The following changes in the officers employed by the
Authority took place during the year

2. Integration of Health Services.
The arrangements detailed in the Report for 1954 continued.
Circular letters were addressed to General Practitioners on twentyfive
occasions and referring to the following matters :—
Poliomyelitis and vaccination. Influenza and Vaccination.
Dysentery (Flexner and Sonne). Food Poisoning.
Child Guidance. Prescriptions for Diabetic Persons.
Verrucas. Diphtheria and Whooping Cough
„. Immunisation.
Ringworm.
Priority Dental Treatment.
Pathological Specimens.
Infective Hepatitis. Streptococcal Infection.
Smallpox. Laryngotracheobronchitis.
3. Laboratory Facilities.
Dr. Frank Marsh, Pathologist in charge of the Laboratory at
Epping, has kindly supplied the following information in regard
to work done for Walthamstow :—
