DEATHS FROM ACCIDENTS IN THE HOME
Six deaths occurred in 1957 from this cause. Five died in
hospital and one at home. The ages and sexes were:—
Female 2, Male 43 and 53, Female 70, Male 86, Female 89.
The child died by drowning in a garden water tank and four
deaths followed from fractures, all of which occurred in the home.
The remaining death was caused by a fall from a ladder.
In order to put these and other deaths in proper perspective,
the following comparison is made:—
