The pool is supervised by the Medical Officer of Health for
Leyton, who kindly sends a copy of the analytical findings when
samples are taken.
(c) South-West Essex Technical College.—Sampling was
carried out on four occasions with satisfactory results.
(d) Forest School.—This is a small swimming bath with a
capacity of approximately 65,000 gallons. Sampling was carried
out with satisfactory results.
(e) Woodford County High School.—Sampling was carried
out with satisfactory results.
(f) Kingfisher Pool—The Secretary kindly gives the follow
ing particulars : —
"A much improved season, but far from good owing to
the short period of the heat wave. There was the odd occasion
when the gates were closed, the Pool being full to capacity.
Total attendances were in the neighbourhood of 20,000 which
must be considered quite good."
Bacteriological and chemical analyses were carried out on two
occasions with satisfactory results.
