(d) Forest School.—This is a small swimming bath with a
capacity of approximately 65,000 gallons. Sampling was carried
out with satisfactory results.
(e) Woodford County High School.—Sampling was carried
out with satisfactory results.
(f) Kingfisher Pool.—The Managing Director kindly gives
the following particulars: —
" Normal turnover of between 6 and 8 hours.
"Approximately 19,500 people passed through during the
season.
"The new chlorination plant was very satisfactory, and
except when the pool was very heavily loaded and a boost of
liquid chlorine used, produced an average of .5 ppm in the
shallow end and .3 ppm in the deep end.
"Several times it was necessary to run the plant all night
due to a heavy load the previous day. This was partly due to
night swimming which the inception of floodlighting produced."
Bacteriological and chemical analyses were carried out on five
occasions with satisfactory results.
