Experience has shown that when a child's problem is taken
in hand early, the prospects of solving it are much brighter than
if it is allowed to drag on to school age, when children are customarily
referred to the Child Guidance Clinic.
It is hoped that local medical practitioners, and doctors working
in the Maternity and Child Welfare Service, will make full use of
the facilities now provided in the Borough for the treatment of the
under-fives.
Children are seen by appointment only.
In the following Tables the numbers of children seen from
Leyton Borough and Forest Division are not included.
